1. If the apples are not eaten the day you receive the shipment,
it would be best to refrigerate until it is time to eat.
2. In the refrigerator, the apples last for one (1) week (unsliced). Since the
caramel apples are made of chocolate and caramel, it does turn firmer
in the refrigerator, so you may want to let it come to room temperature
before slicing or eating.
. . . if you just can't wait to eat the apple and want to speed up the
warming up process, just microwave the apple for a VERY SHORT
TIME, about 10-15 seconds, depending on your microwave strength.
3. Remember, since it is still a fresh apple inside, after you slice the apple, it
does start to gradually turn brown (it wouldn't be an apple, otherwise, would it?). |
